    In compliance with President Trump’s Memorandum on Radical Transparency About Wasteful Spending, the Department of Homeland Security provides the following information on actions taken to reduce spending.

  • Targeted Violence and Terrorism Prevention Partner One Pager

    The Center for Prevention Programs and Partnerships (CP3) connects targeted violence and terrorism prevention (TVTP) providers, curates research and best practices, and helps states and communities build strategies and programs. 

  • The Office for State and Local Law Enforcement Strategic Plan

    OSLLE's strategic plan is designed to fortify the collaboration across all levels of law enforcement by setting clear, actionable goals that enhance the operational effectiveness of SLTTC partners. These goals are grounded in the principles of shared responsibility, mutual respect, and the recognition that security challenges are best met with unified responses.

  • 2025 DHS Congressional Appropriations Reports

    The FY 2025 reports posted have met the above requirements and have been provided to the requesting Congressional Committees for not less than 45 days, except as otherwise specified in law.

  • Promising Prevention Practice

    The Center of Prevention Programs and Partnerships (CP3) provides partners with financial and technical
    assistance to improve the national capacity to prevent terrorism and targeted violence. CP3 offers a
    range of support, including educational resources, funding opportunities, and technical advice, to
    help communities develop their own prevention strategies tailored to their unique needs.

  • S&T Impact Next Generation Emergency Operations

    The Science and Technology Directorate works closely with public safety officials at all levels, including DHS Components, state, local and tribal first responders, and emergency management agencies, to understand their evolving mission needs and to identify and implement solutions that enhance operational capabilities.

  • IDENT’s IXM Schema and Conformance Tool

    The Office of Biometric Identity Management (OBIM) maintains the Automated Biometric Identification System, also known as IDENT. To enable biometric and identity management services to OBIM’s customers, OBIM created the IDENT Exchange Message (IXM) Specification as an application profile designed to allow Stakeholders’ own biometric systems communicate with IDENT.

  • Transparency for Non-Essential Travel

    In compliance with President Trump’s Executive Order 14222, Implementing the President’s “Department of Government Efficiency” Cost Efficiency Initiative, the Department of Homeland Security has taken actions to provide transparency for non-essential travel. The DHS Secretary and Chief Financial Officer implemented non-essential travel reporting requirements for Components to be posted on a monthly basis.
