Big City Fire Working Group 2024 Year in Review​

The Big City Fire Working Group (BCF) membership is composed of senior leaders from 12 of the nation’s largest fire departments. Many member departments encompass both fire and related expertise; BCF represents firefighters, emergency medical services (EMS) providers, and other disciplines. 

This report provides an introduction to the BCF and highlights the breadth of the group’s impact on the fire service across the United States. It summarizes the activities and progress of BCF for calendar year (CY) 2024 and previews the planned activities for CY 2025.
