The Department of Homeland Security participates in a number of events throughout the year. The Science and Technology Directorate (S&T) and the Domestic Nuclear Detection Office (DNDO) participate in events to reach out to the public and disseminate knowledge regarding new technologies that help homeland security officials better do their jobs to protect the homeland. The following events include participation from the Department Directorate for Science and Technology.

Event Overview: The National Sheriffs' Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to raising the level of professionalism among those in the criminal justice field. The organization serves law enforcement and other criminal justice professionals from throughout the nation. S&T will be on hand to provide information about programs and services available to our law enforcement stakeholder audience.
